Students, faculty, and staff can use a VPN (a Virtual Private Network) to access restricted University resources from off-campus through a secured internet connection. This support solution will walk you through how to install the Cisco AnyConnect application and successfully establish a VPN connection to access resources on the Wake Forest network.


Step 1: For personal computers, you will need to install the Cisco AnyConnect application at software.wfu.edu, Law School issued computers already have the Cisco AnyConnect application installed so you simply need to search for the application and launch it


Step 2: Confirm the connection address is vpn.wfu.edu, if not enter it in the dropdown field and then press connect

Step 3: Log in with your Wake Forest email and password


Step 4: You should now be logged into the Wake Forest network and have access to restricted University resources from off-campus
