This support solution will walk you through installing the WebEx web application the first time you log in to WebEx.
*NOTE: Google Chrome is the preferred browser for WebEx, though other browsers may work for the best experience and access to support please use Google Chrome
Step 1: Go to https://wake.webex.com
Step 2: Sign in in the top right corner with your Wake Forest email and password
Step 3: Select the green "Start Meeting" button
Step 4: A window will appear, click the green "Add Webex to Chrome" to start the install the web application
Step 5: You will be taken to the chrome web store in a new tab, click the blue "Add to Chrome" button
Step 6: Click the "Add extension" button to approve adding Webex to your Chrome browser
Step 7: The WebEx web application will now downloand, click the Cisco_Webex_add...... download and run this to complete the installation
Step 8: Webex should now launch for Windows users, please refer to the "Using your Personal Room" support solution for additional WebEx assistance, for Mac users please continue with Step 9
Step 9: After launching the installer open the "Install Cisco Webex Add-On" file
Step 10: Click "Open" on the following message
Step 11: Click "OK" on the following message giving the application to access files in your downloads folder
Step 12: You have now successfully installed WebEx on your computer, please refer to the "Using your Personal Room" support solution for additional WebEx assistance
