This support solution will walk you through how to remotely set your office phone to forward to another number of your choosing or to set your phone to forward directly to your voicemail.

Note: To complete this setup off-campus you must have an active VPN connection to the Wake Forest network via the Cisco AnyConnect application to access the necessary resources, follow the "Using remote access (VPN)" solution for additional guidance on starting a VPN session prior to continuing

Step 1: Go to the "Cisco Self Care Portal" at http://phone.wfu.edu/ and log in with your Wake Forest username (your Wake Forest email without @wfu.edu) and password

Step 2: Select the "Call Forwarding" option in the left-hand menu

Step 3: Click the checkbox next to the "Forward all calls to:" to enable the call forwarding

NOTE: Be sure the phone number displayed above is the correct phone number you are looking to forward

Step 4: To forward calls to your voicemail continue with step 4 below, to forward to a specific phone number skip to Step 5

Click the drop-down menu and select "Voicemail" to forward all calls immediately to your office voicemail, click save to enable this forwarding.

Step 5: To forward calls to a specific phone number click the drop-down menu and select "Add a new number" option

Step 6: Enter the 10 digit phone number you would like your office phone to begin forwarding to (format your phone number without special characters or spaces, e.g. 3335551111). Click the save button

NOTE: By enabling this forwarding to another phone number, calls may be sent to the voicemail box for that number, your personal voicemail message will likely play for callers. Forwarding calls to another phone number also means that voicemails will not be forwarded to your email inbox

Step 7: You have now set up your office phone to forward

If you want to change your selection, repeat these instructions, beginning at Step 2
